The farm hours this weekend are Sat and Sun 9-4. New fall Hours as of Oct 1st: Closed Mon, Tues, Wed, open Thur and Fri 9-5 and Sat and Sunday 9-4. The PYO tomato patch still has an abundant supply of main season red and green varieties. 10 varieties are still producing including heirloom and cherry tomatoes. The price for PYO is $1.00/lb red or green. We expect to have tomatoes into Oct. We have beautiful, large Cortland apples all picked at the farmstand. Green beans are still producing and available for picking. The farmstand is stocked daily with a variety of vegetables including tomatoes, various lettuces, peppers, kale, Broccoli(side shoots), Swiss chard, summer squash, traditional and eight ball Zucchini and some pickling cukes. A new planting of fall broccoli should be ready in 7-10 days. . Winter squash is going fast with only 2 varieties left, Buttercup, and Delicata, with cooking tips and recipes. Randy has picked some pumpkins, including pie pumpkins, and gourds. Our late fall seedlings of broccoli, spinach, lettuces, swiss chard and kale have been planted. The fall raspberries did not overwinter in good health and we won't have them this year. We no longer have PYO grapes. Our handmade herbal soaps are sold at the farm stand year round. My latest favorite is a nice dark Coffee mint. Call the farm phone @ 868-2001 anytime for updates or check here.
