Treat mom to an early bird walk - or let her sleep in while you go! At 7 AM on Mother's Day, May 12, the Barrington Conservation Commission and Natural Heritage Committee invite you to come for a bird walk on the Warren Farm.

Naturalist and bird expert Scott Young will lead us.  This is prime time for both migrants and local birds in their breeding season, and the wide variety of habitats on the Warren Farm is ideal for seeing many species - Scott has documented some 150 species on the property in the last several years!  The farm property has been extensively managed for wildlife habitat in the last several years, and it is really paying off.

The number of birds we'll see is of course weather dependent, but the only guarantee is if you don't come and look, you won't see anything.

Bring a pair of binoculars and a bird book if you can.  Ticks will be out, so take necessary precautions.
