The farmstand is open on weekends 10am - 4pm
I reserved space to sell our products at the Northwood Indoor Farmers Market Oct 24th, November 7th and November 21st. It is held in the Masonic Lodge right on the corner of rt 4 and 202. What a nice space to have a market! It was nice and warm and dry! There is plenty of parking next to the building at the Park and Ride. There was a great selection of fresh produce including onions, beets, carrots, brocolli, swiss chard, many types of potatoes and winter squash, turnips, pumpkins, apples, local raw honey, local wines, fresh made goatsmilk cheeses, handmande soaps, local pottery, local jams, leeks and more. This was the first of 3 indoor markets scheduled so far and we are hoping to get the word out about the next 2 markets held on Nov 7th and Nov 21st from 9am to noon.
At the farm we have tomatoes, several varieties of lettuce, swiss chard, dried hot peppers, apples, fingerling potatoes and large red and white potatoes, and handmade soap. We are open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
Randy and Earl have been preparing for Christmas tree season and the fields look great. This year we will be opening our new field which has many fir balsams, blue spruce trees and concolor firs. The back fields still have many trees and they have really filled out and grew in height. We have many trees up to 8 foot and 9 foot this year. The price per Cut Your Own Tree will be same as the last 2 years $35 per tree. As always we will have a selection of Already Cut Trees ranging in price from $10 - $35. Our handmade wreaths will be available the weekend before Thanksgiving and right up thru December 24th. Our holiday farmstand hours will be 9am to dark, 6 days per week, and closed on Mondays. These hours will begin the weekend before Thanksgiving and go right up thru December 24th.
