The weeds are growing like crazy in this wet weather!
The farmstand is open every day: Monday thru thursday 10am to 6pm and Friday and Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. We have fresh picked strawberries every day. We also have large leafy heads of lettuce, Kale and and swiss chard. So far we can't keep up with the demand for the swiss chard, however we do have it in the morning at least. I picked my first carrots and beets and radishes. The carrots are still a little small and somewhat twisted up. We don't have sandy soil so they hit rocks now and then and bend around them. the radishes look great and the beets need to get a little larger before I harvest the rest of them.
Pick Your Own Raspberries will be starting soon! We have four new long rows of raspberries for you to pick from in addition to last years berries. When they start we will be opening earlier, probably 8am during raspberry season. The early varieties may be ready within 5 to 10 days. It's hard to tell with these consistent cool temperatures.
Also available: 6 paks of fennel, cilantro, and 4 paks of the specialty cut flower lisianthus and many varieties of handmade soap.
