Farmstand hours for the next two weeks,
We will not open up the beds to the public as in the past anymore for strawberry season. If we do any PYO strawberries it will be by invitation only. Randy is picking the strawberries for the farmstand so we can stay open regular hours. We will have PYO raspberries as usual. They look great and we will start with the early varieties late June or early July. We have a new bed for you to pick from this year. We will be opening earlier, probably 8am during raspberry season.
The farmstand will be open Monday thru thursday 10am to 6pm and Friday and Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. These will be the farmstand hours for the next two weeks at least. We expect to have fresh picked strawberries every day. We also have large leafy heads of lettuce and Kale. The spinach and swiss chard are big sellers and soon we hope not to run out as more plantings mature. Also available: 6 paks of fennel, cilantro, and dill and 4 paks of the specialty cut flower lisianthus and many varieties of handmade soap. Randy's huge PYO tomato patch, which is way out back this year, already has tomatoes set for 2 weeks now on the early varieties. It's on dry land so the rain has not been a problem for it. Other vegetables growing in our fields are sweet corn, beets, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, brocolli, onions, delicata squash, summer squash, zuchini, flowers and herbs. Perhaps more? We also have a mystery cucurbit type plant that was given to us last year by a customer. We are curious to see what this turns out to be.
The raspberries look great and we have a new bed for you to pick from in addition to last years berries. We will be opening earlier, probably 8am during raspberry season. The early varieties may be ready before July 1st!
